Opportunity for a new graduate Psychiatric Certified NP or PA – Northern Iowa

Immediate full-time, permanent opportunity in northern Iowa for a Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The position will include both inpatient and outpatient coverage. The behavioral health team meets at the behavioral unit each morning, Monday through Friday for staffing, reviewing new patients, and discussing with the provider on-call the night before. Mid-morning outpatient coverage starts.

On Friday, there are not any patients scheduled in clinic, and the day is used for catching up on notes, any learnings, etc., after meeting at the behavioral health unit.

The provider on-call over the weekend continues with rounding on the weekends at the unit, but the rest of the team does not go to the unit on weekends.

• Experience preferred, will consider recent graduates
• M-F days schedule with 1:3 Call for emergent surgeries only
• Mix of inpatient/outpatient coverage
